Studying like I was back in college

Well...I got pwned for a nice $4000 yesterday...since then, I have decided to review most of the relevant hands out of this 200k hand history database I bought...I am basically going to go through all the hands and figure out what this guy does in every spot and just do what he does...So far, ive noticed that he plays very very different than the way I was playing...that is a good thing though...id rather to be ignorant than unlucky. I got through the As and Ks today...tomorrow will be the Qs Js and Ts and then the next day will hopefully be the sooted connectors...after that, my plan is to jump into 5/10 6 max on stars where no one knows me and hopefully pwn it nicely. I will probably give myself $15,000 -$20,000 to "gamble" with and hope for the best.
Due to my friend Dalimans success at betting sports, I have decided to do what he suggests and read sharp sports betting by Stanford Wong so that I can talk to him intelligently about the subject. I went 1-1-1 on the wong teasers last week. Right now, I have $5000 in play for this week on 10 teasers and will probably have a little more before Sunday. Also, UFC is this weekend. I follow a guy named Performify when it comes to UFC. This guy wins on almost every ufc card, which is just sick. Hopefully that will all go well...
I have also been trying to monitor what I eat, as I dont want to get fat. Ive been trying to pick stuff that is basically low fat and cals. Did you know that a $0.60 chicken pot pie has 24+ grams of fat?!?! Thats redic. Chicken teriyaki by lean cuisine has a whopping 2 grams of fat...their spaghetti has 3.5...Anyways, im going to try to not get fat like most old poker players...but being fat does make you lucky...so maybe I should eat those chicken pot pies.

pretty long day

The last 2 days I have gotten super tured around 7 pm or so...I haven taken a 2 hour nap both days that, I imagine, is verrrry -----ev. I am going to make sure that doesnt happen tomorrow. I played quite a bit of 3/6 today. I decided to play heads up with this that seemed to know what he was doing, mainly for experience playing with a backwards button. He was pwning me pretty good and eventually got up $600 on me from me basically never hitting a hand. I eventually hit a hand and and got back to even plus a little so that was nice. As for the rest of the session, I ran pretty awful, but that happens from time to time, I guess. I was going to call it a night around 2 am but Z32fanatic IMed me to tell me that JohnnyBax was at the final table of some mtt on stars. I started talking crap to him but he said it was a bad time, as they were playing for like 60k or so, so I left him alone. I was sitting here playing diablo2 when I got the bright idea to nut peddle cash games instead. I ended up getting almost even for the day, which is nice. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.

Well, I havent posted for the last few days mianly because I havent been playing much and have been doing lots of nonpoker related stuff. I have played just a few sngs (like 30 or less) and lost like $3000 or something mainly due to running sickly bad, but it happens over 30 games all the time. I just dont really have the desire to sit and grind at sngs right now, especially since I have have $50,000 in my account that I would like to have before I start playing every $1100 that runs. I havent really been playing much cash games either but today, I got a strong desire to learn to play...so I bought a guys pokertracker database and studied his hands pretty much all day. This guy was/is a pretty solid winner from 3/6 up to 10/20 and is now playing 25/50 on full tilt, so hopefully I can put some of what I am learning to practice. I played like 500 hands tonight and made $1500 or so, which was nice. I was planning on playing more but I kept getting in spots where I would ask myself "what would that guy do" so I am going to study some more then go to sleep.

Also, I am most likely going to be moving my blog to a new site. It is bigjoe2003s and z32fanatics ( 2 of the best sng players around right now) site, which will most likely become the training ground for sng players looking to inprove. I played just a few sngs and lost $1000. I was up $3000 earlier but then pushed into AA twice and got 4 outered 4 times in my last 6 games...all in all, pretty typical. I am looking foreward to the day where I run normal.

Today was kinda crappy. I decided to play 3/6 and got stacked twice by one of my friends and once by another one, which pissed me off and put me on super tilt. I ended up a huge $200, which I guess I am ok with, even though I was up $2400 at one point. I guess it happens. I also played 5 $1100 sngs and went 1/0/2/2 for $3500ish profit...although for some reason, that $3500 doesnt seem to count in my mind...I dont know why. I guess I just focus on the negative things, like going from +$2400 to +$200 in 6 max, which is what I am trying to do well at. I think I am going to try to be a bit tighter tomorrow, as I am getting no respect at all. I need the people to fold sometimes!. I will post again tomorrow i guess.

Im not so sad with -$1400...it happens sometimes, I guess. I was planning on either jumping to 3/6 or going back to sngs after 10,000 hands...I guess I am going to try some 3/6, as I think the people are starting to figure out how I play at 2/4, believe it or not. I am considering, if I actually get good at this 6 max stuff, to jump limits every few days so people dont have time to figure out how I play....or maybe its a dumb idea...I guess ill figure that out when the time comes. Hopefully tomorrow goes well...I have been feeling kinda down...hopefully a nice solid day can change that.

Today was fairly crazy. I got stacked like 15 times today...I miiiight have been stacked 10 times in the first 7000 hands. Ohh well. Despite that, I somehow managed to win a nice biring $200. I pretty much lost every time I got all in with a draw...actually, I lost every time. Good thing people are trying to let me win, otherwise I would have been down like $4000 today. Anyways...total numbers for 2/4 nl...

8346 hands for $10708.50 profit at 16.04ptbb/100. Solid.

Ive kinds been in the pattern of playing 1 hour, doing something else for 1 hour. It seems to be working and it also helps keep me unbored/untilted. I will probably try it again tomorrow.

fame vs fortune

I was thinking about this today, as I didnt feel like playing much and it was horrible weather outside. I know a few people that play poker only for money and some only for fame...First off, I dont think there is much fame outside the poker world to be gained by playing poker. I dont think the general public has any clue who many of the great poker players are, like they know other great sports people or politicians..I had to choose those categories because poker doesnt really fit in with any specific group, at least not im my opinion. Sure, the public knows the top few in the world at most things, but if you asked me to name 20 good basketball players, i couldnt. So...I dont think there is all that much fame to be gained...that being said, in poker, you can win everything, become fameous within the poker world and still not have all that much money. Most of the "name" pros on the circut are broke or backed so they dont go broke. You simply have to win fairly consistently to make a good living...there arent many people who can do this, and if they are, they probably are just running hot or normal...it will be intresting to see how they do when they run very poor, which will happen eventually...

As for fortune, you can make a killing playing poker and no one will have any clue who you are. There are quite a few millionaires who are younger than 21, that if they went to play in a local card room, you would think they are some random 20 year old idiots. Also, you can easily grind out $200,000/year playing $100 sngs or $2/$4 n cash games. Its just a matter of putting in the hours.

I guess what I am saying that it is much easier to get rich by the worlds standards than to become fameous. If I had to choose, I for sure play for the money. I dont care at all what a bunch of poker players think about me...I do, however, care a lot about what my poker playing friends think about me. I dont really know what I posted this..I guess I just hate to see kids chasing a dream of becomming the worlds best poker player when they will most likely fail...and when they actually make it to the top, they realize that they are still seen as a degenerate gambler by the general (uneducated) public.

As for my day, i made a nice $3200 over 1000 hands of 2/4 nl. I was hitting hands and people were just giving it away. It was nice. I guess ill just post again tomorrow.

Today was nice. I dont think I did much...but I really dont remember very much from today. The days are kinda blending in together. Ok...I remember now...all I did was work today...but thats fine with me, as I am trying my hardest to learn cash games and I think I am starting to get it. My dad and one of my friends were supposed to come over today for me to teach them sngs, but they both cancelled for various reasons. I havent played any big sngs in the last few days, which makes me happy. Sngs make me sad. Anyways, heres totals for the last 3 days of 2/4 nl 6 max...

5128 hands played for $7333.50 profit, which is 17.88ptbb/100....which is pretty sick. Hopefully I can do 1/2 as well in the long run.

well..not totally done with it. I realized today just how impractical having to sleep every 4 hours is. I went to my aunts house warming party thing and then to a movie...before all of that though, I was wondering when I was going to get to sleep...so I decided to take like a 5 hour nap earlier in the day...it was great. I also am going to play in a $2000 2+2 sng in a month or so and im sure I would have had to get off the schedule for that as well. I think I have decided that I am going to just sleep for like 2 or 3 hours at a time whenever I get tired for the next few days and see how that goes. I imagine ill be taking 2-3 naps per day. Like right now, its 5 am and I would normally be getting ready to go to bed, but im not tired...so im going to stay up. I guess ill see how this works out.

As for poker, I lost like $100 playing 2/4 today. I didnt hit near as many hands as the past few days and for checkraised a lot...getting checkraised a lot is fine when you are hitting but not when you miss 100% of the time. Thats ok though...-$100 is a great "bad" day. My dad is going to come over sometime tomorrow and im going to try to make him a winning sng player. I think he pretty much has the bare basics down from about 2 hours of teaching, so hopefully tomorrow I get start teaching him some specifics. I am probably going to watch a little tv then I might put in another little session. Ill post again tomorrow.

more sleep stuff

So im sitting here watching a video being bored, so i figured id let you all know that I actually had my first 20 minutes of good solid sleep. At 7 pm tonight, I was suuuuppper tired...like falling asleep playing poker tired, which never happens. After that, I went out to eat with a friend then to help me parents learn sngs a little better. I basically played 3 $3.40 sngs for them and won $15 in 4 games, which is good for them. I have been playing a little 2/4 nl and am up $4500 over like 1700 hands so far, which is great. If I can run 1/3 as well as the last 2 days, ill be happy. Right now, im supposed to take my nap in 2 hours but im wide awake. Im starting to feel much better, which is fairly exciting. Ive figured out that if I watch tv for 30 or so minutes before the nap, I go to sleep much faster than if I played videogames or poker. As for the guy that asked why im doing this, its because I want to get more hours out of my day. I mean, it makes sense...even if it takes a few years off my life, those years it will be taking are those where I would be in a nursing home. This sleep schedule basically gains me 1 extra week worth of time per month. Also, it will give me more time to goof off, which in turn will give me more time to work, which is the real goal of all this. If you have any more questions, let me know. I'll probably just post some more after I put in some more hours working.

Well, I havent had more than 20 minutes of sleep at a time for the last 36 hours and im about to die. Im so so so tired. I have no clue how I drug myself out of the bed 20 minutes ago. I have been sticking to taking 20 minute naps at 3-7-11. Those seem to be fairly decent times for me for some reason. Im sitting here trying to think of stuff to type but I cant think of anything...its rather sad. Ok ok...I have noticed a huge loss of hand eye coordination. Like when I come fomr from shopping with bags in both hands, I can usually fiddle with my keys and open the door...not so anymore. I dropped the keys twice today, which makes me kinda sad. Hopefully this corrects itself soon. I have been told that the first 3-4 days are the roughest and im almost though those, so hopefully good things are in the near future. Also, waking up from my 7 am nap is by far the most difficult. I guess this is because when I am normally fairly into deep sleep. I guess I just have to get it through my brain that 7 am isnt sleep time anymore....I dont have a sleep time anymore.

As for poker, I simply cant 20 table sngs at this point. My brain isnt working fast enough and I tend to make one or two misclicks per hour, which is one or two too many for me to be happy playing those games. That being said, I didnt play sng sngs yesterday. I played an hour of 2/4 nl on stars and made $1200, which is nice. I was 4 tabling that, which takes 0 brain power, so I think I can handle that. Hopefully I keep running hot in that.

Im going to see the Borat movie tomorrow at noon. Im really looking foreward to it. I also bought the ali g dvds and penn and teller bullshit season 3 dvd. Ive been playing a decent amount of diablo 2, as it takes no thought at all and it keeps me awake. Im tired of being tired. I dont know if I am going to be able to keep up the uberman schedule if it persists. I will most likely quit after 4-5 more days of this if it doesnt get any better. Ill post again when something happens.

Biloxi/New Orleans trip report

Well, im sitting here waiting for my parents to get to their house so we can eat shrimp, so I figured it type this up while im waiting... I wasnt expecting much from Biloxi. It turned out to be a fairly relaxing trip though. I got there about a week ago (i dont remember when...my memory is horrible) with my friend Pete. We pretty much chilled around the casino and played a little live poker, which I dont really like. After he left, My friend Dave Anderson came along with a Christoph, a guy we met in Lake Tahoe. We had a pretty good time hanging out and eating the great Brizilian buffet. Dave did well in the tournaments although I did pretty horrible, like normal. I also got pwned hard online...Like to the point of almost bustoing my account. I have like $6000 left in there right now (which is basically nothing) so im going to be pulling some strings to get more money in there asap.

After the boring biloxi trip, I got the bright idea to go to the music festival in New Orleans. One of Daves favroite bands is Red Hot Chili Peppers and one of mine is My Chemical Romance, so we figured we check them out. We left mid day and followed TimKrank, a party sng player, and 2 of his friends to new orleans. I was under the impression we were going to our hotel to drop off our bags, but we went straight to the music festival. It took forever to find parking. We evnetually parked about a 30 minute walk from the entrance. My legs were tired by the time I got up there. We pretty much mingled around and laughed at the huge lines to get beer and food. The beer stands were amazing...They had these spicket people whose job was to do nothing but sit there and fill plastic cups full of beer as fast as they could. Thank god I dont have to do that for a living. The whole situation made me rather depressed with all humanity. Anyways, we eventually saw the chili peppers and they were great.

When we finally made it back to my car, I noticed my dome light was on...great...I was hoping my battery wasnt dead. It turns out either me or dave apparently left the doors unlucked and someone had ransacked my car. All my clothes were thrown out of my suitcase, as was Daves. I was hoping and praying they didnt touch the computers in the back. Dave was even more worred than I was, I think, as he had $5000 in his computer bag. I opened up the trunk to find Daves computer out of the bag and some of his stuff strown about my trunk...my computer was nowhere to be found...I was sad. Dave found his money still in his bag...smart theives...Once we got out wits back, Dave decided to see what was taken from the inside of the car...and he found my computer!! ShiiiipppHollaaaaa. It turns out that the only things they took was my crappy minpod (they left my videoipod...) daves ipod and my little thing that lets the ipod plug into the radio. That was the best bad beat i have ever taken. We drove to the hotel, checked in and went to meet up with the other guys again in the casino to eat and figure out plans from there. We all decided that we were tired, so we went to sleep.

Dave decided the next day that he wanted to talk around and see the city, so we did that in the morning. I wanted to see My Chemical Romance at 3:30, so I decided that we didnt have time to go back to the hotel, as we would be cutting it close. We ate at some fair to crappy bbq/fried food place in the french quarter...It was possabily the worst service I have ever had. We caught a cab and went back to the music festival. We played the playstation 3 for like 15 minutes while we waited. We got to the main stage and I noticed that they had some other band playing...At this festival, there was usually an hour break between bands on each stage. I then realized that we forgot to set back our clocks. We are so smart. We eventually saw the show, which was great. I wasnt expecting all that much, as I have heard some of MCRs live stuff and it was kinda crappy. Their show was very good though.

We taxied back to the hotel and slept until about 9:00 or so. Dave wanted to walk down burbon street, so we did that. We ate at the red fish grill, which was awesome. They had some the best soup I have ever tasted. It was some red fish soup that was kinda tomatoey. If you ever go there, get the 1-1-1 soup sampler...you wont be disappointed. After that, we walked down the street, listened to a 400 poind man sing in a bar, then went back to the room. We watched little miss sunshine, which is a very funny movie.

The next day...which is today, I drove home and here I am...I plan to go back into semiseculsion for the next month or so and relearn how to play sngs. My stars account is fairly low right now and neteller is taking its time to get my deposit in, so I think I am going to be forced to grind it out at the $114s-$225s for a few days, which isnt really that big of a problem.

I also plan on getting on theuberman sleep schedule, which is where you sleep 20 minutes at a time 6 times per day. I think I am going to go with sleeping at 3-7-11, as those seem to be the best times for pokering as well as most other things in life. Hopefully this all goes well, as I am not one to go without sleep very easily. I also think I left all my toiletries back in New Orleans, so im going to have to go buy new stuff tomorrow or whenever, which kinda sucks...I guess thats about it. I'll post again when something happens.

actually, its worse than horrible...its the worst I have run in my life. I decided to count the coinflips in my last session tonight...I won 2 out of 25. I am fine with running poor, but this is starting to get stupid. I am pretty much done with $1100s at least until I start winning hands. I guess I am going to add $114s back in even though I am horrible at them..Actually, I take that back. Without a doubt, I am one of the top 10 sng players in the world...thats what pisses me off. I dont understand why God despises me enough to let the idiot lucksacks win every single hand. I really dont get it. I am seriously starting to wonder if Stars is somehow rigged...I know, it sounds dumb...but at this point, I see how it could be possible. I mean, I know if I am playing poorly or if I am running bad. This is just sick sick sick run bad. Its basically impossible to win a sng without winning a coin flip...and you cant win a sng when you only win 35% of your coinflips..So...what in the world am I going to do? I have no clue. I am probably going to grind the $114s-$335s pretty hard tomorrow. Im going to try to get in 300 or so and hope I make at least a little. If not, I dont know what I am going to do. I guess ill post these horrible horrible stars, although I might start to do it less often, as I dont want people I play with to know how im running, as they might tend to play differently at different times. Maybe ill just post numbers once a week or so.

Well, I decided I was going to get in a lot of sngs today, so I started playing around 2 pm. I pretty much lost every $1000 I played, which makes for a nice huge losing day. I was down $20,000 at one point but finished down $10,000 or so...I guess I should expect these things to happen. It was so so so so sick. I kept losing to 3 outers on the bubble. I guess you know the rant by now, as I give it every day. I also dont like using a broken mouse while 20 tabling. It doesnt work all that well. Dave is supposed to meet me sometime tonight but he hasnt called, so I dont know what the deal is. I played some plo mtt which was a really shallow event. After 20 minutes, your starting stack was now 15bbs. I had AQ98 2 suits in a 6 way limped pot on the button. It came AQ9 on the flop...some guy bet and I pushed. He called with a million straight draws and obviously hit. Pretty standard. Im unsure how long I am going to stay here now. I really have no desire to sit around and play mtts when I know I need to be putting in all the time I can online.

crazy day

Well, last night we bot to Biloxi, met up with some of Petes friends and hung around the poker room for a little while. For those who dont know me, I HATE standing around the poker room and watching people win insignificant sums of money...so I decided to play a $50+10 sng...Yes...20% rake. Ship it to the house. I obviously won that because the players were terrible. We then ate some buffet around 3 am then went to sleep. I guess I ate too much so I didnt sleep very soundly.

We woke up around 9:30 am and met up with some more of Petes friends as well as some people I know from Pensacola. I lasted the longest in the tourney, staying in for about 4 hours. They were fairly shallow, so I was gambooling it up. After the first hour, I had 4x the starting stack. After that, not much went right. for my bosto hand, for the few who actually care, I had AK in 2nd position. A guy that had like 10bbs made it 800 to go in 150/300. I made it 2400 out of my 5k stack and they folded to the button who instapushed...The first raiser folded and I called, as I had like 1/2 my chips in the pot. He had TT and I dont win coinflips, so I lost. So, it was a pretty standard mtt for me.

After that, we went to see Departed, which is a great movie. After that, we went to the great brizialian place here to eat and pretty much stuffed ourselves. After that, I came back to the room by myself with the intention of putting in a nice long session. I played about and went like 0/0/0/20, so I decided to break my mouse in a little tilt fit then to take a nap. I woke up around 11 pm and proceded to pwn hard. I got AA a bunch of times and when I didnt have Aa, I was cracking it. Good thing cause I was looking at and honestly, expecting a -10k day, but somehow I ended up a nice +3k. . Ok...total numbers...

Ok...I know it is getting old, but I have to bitch about running poorly in the $1100s...Today I got heads up in 2 of them and both times I had like 12000 chips and they had 1500...the guys came back and won both times. It was sick. Besides that, I pwned pretty hard today. I ended the short session +$7739 which is quite nice/suprising. I am considering playing a bit more but I have to go to biloxi tonight sometime and I am going to visit my parents, as they just got back from a cruise and I havent seen them in about 3 weeks. Im going to be in Biloxi with some friends until Sun or Mon, at which time I will come back and hopefully continue to pwn the sngs. I also plan on getting in at least 50 per day while in Biloxi, although I will probably get in more, at the mtts start at 11 am and sngs dont run then...so I should be free most nights. I wish I had some sort of stat of how I did when in 10 games vs 20. I'll try to figure out if I can do something like that. I guess I will posy again when something happens.

I worked a pretty decent amount today, I think. I did pretty bad in the $1100s but pwned the $555s hard. I bubbled 4 $1100s in a row, which really sucks. During my second sessions of the day (usually out of 3 total sessions) I was down like $10,000 and was only going to be even if I won the last 2 $1100s I had left...so I won. :-) Im still fairly sure im a winner in the game though, so im going to keep playing them. After a week of playing hardcore on stars, ive finally reached the supernova level of their frequent player points thing. I think I am starting to figure out how to play with 15bbs fairly well. On party, you either had 10 or 20bbs where as on stars it is 7 or 15. Im sure this is probably what is giving a lot of the 2+2ers from party a hard time. I think I have it pretty much figured out though. I guess I am going to keep grinding tomorrow. Hopefully everything will go well.

I somehow didnt run all that bad today. I woke up around 1 pm, which is a little early for me. Im trying to force myself to get up around 11amish by Tue because I am going to play those live mtts in Biloxi. I have learned that the combination of being really tired and playing for smaller stakes makes me not play very well...so im going to make sure im well rested. Im sitting here watching a sng video by one of the "pros" on cardrunners...This guy is constantly trying to find reasons to get involved with mid pair and thinks he can resteal any time anyone limps. I am fairly glad to see that my suspiscions were right about these guys restealing every time I limp or make a normal raise. I guess that makes me want to fold even less. In a party $530, if you raise with JJ from 1st or second position, a guy in late position makes it like 3x your raise, id instafold JJ...on stars, its an instapush. Its funny how different the players are. Its like they think they are playing a mtt or something. Ohhh well. Im glad they are confused.

I should have been up sooooo much today. I was up $8000 at one point but instead got screwed royally for the rest of the night. In my last late night session, I dont think I won a hand. Every time I got all in, id flop a pair and the rigged ass pokerstars would ALWAYS run them off 2 pair. It happened 4 times in a row..it was sick. I also played some $1000 sngs today, as I was up some earlier and I have been running suuuuper bad in the $114s. I think I might be pushing a bit too much in them because people are calling me with all kinds of crap. Im sitting here finishing up my games and in a $555 5 handed I get QQ against A7...im down to 400 chips yay.... I seriously despise pokerstars. I wouldnt be the least big suprised if it was rigged. I kinda wish it was that way I would know that I am really not the worst running person in the world. I really cant descibe with words how disgusted I am right now. In my late night sessions, I always seem to do really bad. I might skip tomorrows. Ive also been typing random things in the chat box lately, which i am going to try to stop tomorrow. So im sitting here finishing up my last few games and I somehow win that $555 that I got 3 outered in a few minutes ago. The kids decided to walk me then let me steal blinds....its like the people are trying to lose. One of my friends said 10% roi was possible in the $1000s, which he caught a ton of flack for. I dont see why 20% isnt doable, at least in the $555s. There people are really the worst players I have seen in a long time...like since I played $11 party sngs. Prettymuch everything went wrong today. There isnt much else to say about it. I have been mixing in 555s and 335s in addition to the 225s and 114s. I am going to probably cut out the $114s all together and just go for bustoville. I ended up losing a nice $4000 today. Im so good. I guess im going to start loading up my neteller in preparation for the worst. It seems like every time I actually "need" to win, I dont. Like when I first bought my condo, I went on a 3 month breakeven streak. It was awful. Now that I cashed out everything, im obviously not going to win again. It seems pretty typical. I also cant get pokertracker to put inlike 200 of the first sngs I played on stars, so I guess ill just let it give ugly horrible results that say I have -9% roi. Hopefully I wont lose every hand I play tomorrow.

Well...it was a pretty long day and I didnt make any money, so I guess the day wasnt all that nice. I started off the day getting down a quick 5k and had 2k worth of games going, so I had like $41 left in my account...I had my rakeback guy send me $8000 that he owed me so I could keep loading up the games. I kept playing and finally got back to +$300 for the day. Apparently im not keeping the results very well. I could do party results fine 12 tabling when it told me what place I took in every tourney, but pokerstars doesnt do that...When did the math for today, my hand recorded results said I was up like $200 when I was really up $319 and when I did the results from the 3 days in vegas, it had me down like $800 when I was really up $1200...so I guess I am going to be forced to use pokertracker to keep track for me. right now it is importing 283 files, which im guessing will take it a pretty long time.

Dave, one of my friends that I roomed with in Lake Tahoe and Vegas IMed me today and told me he was planning on going to biloxi to play their tournies, which are going to be going on starting in like 4 days and ending on the 28th, so I decided ill go play them. Actually, I talked to the guy that I guess you could call my live poker teacher and he suggested I play in as many smaller live mtts as I could, as he says I have problems with my mid and late level play and you get to those levels faster in smaller buyin tournies. So...im planning on going to Biloxi in maybe a week or so and playing their tournies til the 28th then im going to head to new orleans for the voodoo music festival for a day or two, then im strongly considering flying out to foxwoods to hang out with the teacher and try to learn to beat mtts. I guess I am just looking for a backup plan just in case online poker goes down. Ok...pokertracker is still importing so I guess im just going to post the results tomorrow.

Today was crazy. I stayed up all night last night because I had to get on a plane at 8 am. I got on my plane and went to sleep. I woke up around 3 pm being told we were about to land in some small town in Texas...not Houston. Apparently it was really bad weather there. We sat at that small airport for 4 hours waiting to get gas so we could go back to Houston. Once we got there, I eventually found out that all the flights to Pensacola had been cancelled. Typical. I used my brain and got on a flight to Mobile Alabama, which is about a 45 minute drive Pensacola. I got together with 2 other guys who also did the same thing that I did. We eventually got in the air around 10:00 pm. We eventually landed and we drove home. Yay....im FINALLY home!

Ok...I have figured out my plan for the next 9 months. Right now, I have around $7,000 on pokerstars....I plan to play around 3000 $114s and $225s for the next 3 months. Hopefully I can make $10/game and bring in a nice $30,000 per month. After that, I am probably going to start adding in the $555s and $1100s. I will play it by ear from there but plan on getting in at least 3000 games per month. I think I can 18 table pretty well, which will let me get in 25 games per hour or so. I see no reason why I shouldnt be able to put in 4 hours per day. Hopefully it will go well...

I think I lost one of my result sheets from the last week or so of party sngs...I made a nice $5,000 total but I dont know the exact results. I also lost $2,000 last night from sngs on stars. I guess ill just start posting stars numbers tomorrow. Right now, im listening to the circut radio show, which can be found at www.cardplayer.com. Well, I busted in 50thish in todays super sat. Top 26 got a seat...I had about 20,000 chips (30,000 = top 10%) and got AK against K9, AT against A8, KJ against 65 and 55 against AQ...all lost, so I lost. I am kinda glad I lost because I despise this town and live poker with all my heart. I hope I am never ignorant enough again to think that I could actually do well in a mtt. I am obviously a huge loser in the game, so I suppose its time to accept that to myself and give it up.

I was thinking about how much time and ev I wasted coming to these live mtts. Im sure I could have made at least $50,000 on party playing sngs if I didnt come off and waste time playing these things. For the next 270 days (or until internet poker gets totally banned) I am going to play hardcore on stars and try my hardest to not take time out for things that make little to no sense. So basically, im going to work hardcore for the next 9 months and hope for the best. Ive done it before, but for a year, so 9 months should be no problem.

Im flying home at 8:15 tomorrow morning. I think I am going to find some food then get to work.

Well, I lost the live mtt today, like normal. I am like 0-10 right now which pretty much means I am done for a long long time unless the next 2 go super well. I came back to the hotel and won $3000 in sngs...then I took a break and watched a movie...I came back and decided to run horrible over 10 games (because thats all that would load) so I gave back $1000 of it. I am also noticing that the "good" stars players are actually pretty horrible. They pretty much all have huge huge flaws. There are also total idiots like on party, so im thinking playing on stars wont be so bad. Im going to play the super sat tomorrow then probably come home if I do bad. I might stay one more night just so I can make sure im not flying during prime time, as I like to make sure I can get in 20ish games at a time.

Well, I put in a short little session on stars today, getting in basically every $225 and $114 speed sng that ran for a few hours. I got in 79 games for $1200ish profit. I cant see the chip stacks when I 12 table on my laptop like I can on party, so I was forced to play them cascaded, which I hated before today. I like how the most recent active table pops up on stars...kinda like the old multi table helper program on party. Anyways, 12 games just doesnt feel like nearly enough when you have 30 seconds to act, so I ended up playing between 18 and 26 at a time for most of the session. Curtains actually IMed me when I was around 26 because apparently when I went to the restroom I went "away" on a few tables and was blinding off...How nice of him. Anyways, im looking foreward to spending lots of stars points. I figured out that I can get a 50" plasma tv for every 600 $225s I play. Also, if I play like 35 $555s per day, which I plan on doing once I get some money in my stars account, I can get a $100,000 ashton martin after a year of playing. Its basically the same as rakeback on party but you are forced to spend it...so instead of paying my bills with rakeback and my poker winnings on random stuff, ill spend my poker winnings on bills and rakeback on random stuff. All in all, I think everything will be fine.

Today I played a $1000 super sat at rhe bellagio. There were only 5 people at my opening table so I was stealing the blinds from the dead stacks. I raised about 5 out of the first 7 hands when I got QQ. I raised, some guy reraised to 450 (out of 3000 stack) I push and he instacalls with AQ like its the nuts. He flops and A and I lose. Yay. I am done with live poker for a long long time if I dont get itm in these next 2 events and even then, im going to have to cash for a significant amount in the main event to make me even consider playing anymore. PRetty much, I hate them and I am bad at them.

Well...at 10 am tomorrow, party is most likely going to shut their doors to US citizens thanks to our wonderful government. I somehow managed to win a nice $4000 in sngs today even though I didnt play all that much. I think im like +$3000 over like 200 games over the last week or so since ive been in vegas, which is kinda crappy. I guess I shouldnt expect much because I havent played. I'll give full results when I get back home. I am probably going to be moving all my play to stars. I am not sure if I am going to play the cash games or sngs yet, as they sngs may be filled with all the party regulars, which isnt good. On party, I couldnt play with about 5 or 6 people because ive played on their computers, or that have played on mine, in the past...Stars doesnt have that same policy, so I fear the games may be clogged with fairly decent players. I guess ill just see how it goes and play accordingly. Tomorrow I am going to play a $1000 sat...and then another one on the next day then another on the next day. If I 0-x them, ill go home on the 15th or 16th but if I somehow win a seat into the main event, I'll probably be here til the 20th. I figured id let everyone know that I am very discouraged with poker. I figured I could still pwn sngs but obviously I cant. I had a nice +5k day yesterday but lost basically every game I played today for a nice -6k. I am obivously no longer a winning player. I think ive decided to try to busto myself and just stay out here for at least until the super sats are done. If I happen to win my way into the main event, I will play it, otherwise im going to go home and probably never play a live poker tournament again, as it is very similar to being tortured over and over again. Well, nothing is going right here. I havent played much at all in the last few days...actually, I think I skipped the last 2 mtts although I did play todays $2500, which I lost, like normal. I am starting to accept the fact that maybe I dont run bad...maybe I just am bad. From what I understand, people can run bad for forever, but it usually doesnt happen. I fail to believe that god could let me run bad for this long, so the only answer is that i am horrible. That being said, I have no clue what I am going to do. I have like $3000 left here, which is enough to either play the 3k tomorrow, or 3 1k sats over the next few days to try to get in the main event. I am supposed to go back home to go on a cruise with my family though. I would normally just play the $3000 event, lose it, then go home, but I have met a very nice girl here that I really like a lot. We went out on a nice little days last night, which was fantastic. So....now I am rather torn between going back home or trying one last time to make a mil before I decide live tournaments just arent for me. Honestly, if I lose whatever I do here, I am done for a long long time. Im talking like I wont play a nother live mtt until I have at least a mil roll, which probably isnt going to happen any time soon because party is shutting down. All in all, I have a few fairly important decisions to make in the next few hours and right now. I usually know what the right play in life is, but right now I dont. I am very conflicted.

I seem to no longer be able to win at live poker....then again, I dont know if I ever could. Today I actually doubled up about 2 hours into the $5000 event but then got QQ against a semislowplayed KK on a low board, so I lost. I think im just going to skip the $1500 event tomorrow and play online. I imagine playing on party now is similar to knowing you have a terminal illness and you will be dead in 2 weeks...party is going to be dead to me in about a week, so I really do need to get in all the sngs I can. I am very very disappointed with myself right now. My goal with online poker was to make enough to retire. As soon as I figured out our horrible country was going to try to kill online poker, I started learning cash games, as I figured that skill would transfer to live poker, as sngs are basically nonexisistent. Ive learned on this trip that I really despise live poker...maybe I dont hate live poker...maybe I just hate losing. I dont know if I have won anything significant in the last month, which makes me sad. I guess my only real options now are to go back home and learn real estate stuff, become a $55 sng grinder on the smaller sites, so travel the circut and hope for a big score. Im thinking the smartest move right now is going to be to give up on poker for the time being, as it simply isnt going to be that profitable. This really bothers me though because I know that I didnt do everything I could to get as much money out of the online game that I could. Its nice to know that I failed the one goal I set for myself. Well...I lost the $2600 tourney today in about 1.5 hours. Things were going nicely for the first hour. I got up to 8000 chips (we started with 5000) when I got QQ all in against a shortish guys TT...I lost. Back down to 5000. I then got KK in 2nd position. A guy in 1st made it 500 in 50/100. This guy has been pretty tight so far but he has made a huge push with KK preflop over a normal raise and like 4 callers in 25/50. Anyways, I take the 600 bet to mean JJ or TT usually...so I made it 1600 and he thought for about 5 seconds then pushed for like 6k total. This really sucks because even though I think im ahead, I dont know if he does this with JJ or TT. I sigh and call and lose to his AA. Its 1:30 here and I have no clue what to do. I went to the poker room at bellagio and the games are infested by fairly decent looking players. I guess im going to chill around the room and maybe gambooool $1000 away. Adam Guyer and Shannon Shorr are comming in tonight so maybe we can do something fun.

The tourney went crappy today. We started with 4k chips and I was up to 8k after the first hour because everyone at my table was horrible. I didnt get any cards for 4 more hours, so I got back down to 4k or so. My table was really crappy then, as I had 4 LAG maniacs to my left and 4 nits to my right...so every time I tried to steal id get called and i rarely got to 3bet someone preflop. I eventually got AA and pushed and some guy made a great call with A4, so I lost. Ive come to the conclusion that I am horrible at poker. Hopefully ill figure out how to win by tomorrow. I made $1000 playing blackjack, which is basically ireelevant. Im probably going to sit here and cry about losing my job. Hopefully tomorrow will be kind.

I still dont know what im going to do with my life. After playing cash games today for 4 hours, I know without a doubt that I despise live poker with all my heart, which in turn makes me despise my life. I lost the $1500 tournament fairly quickly as I was card dead, had AA lose twice and and then had 12bbs in the sb, I made it 3.5 bbs to go, the bb called, the flop was AJ7, I pushes, the bb instacalls with 33...gg me. After that, I played 10/20 nl for 4.5 hours and made $1200. I pretty much played very abc. It was probably the most boring time in my life. I hate it with a passion. I then came back to the hotel and played 14 sngs before I couldnt play with some people, which put me in crazy tilt. It also didnt help that I was running horrible. Im pretty much tired of my life. Maybe I should become a rock star or something...

I got to laugh a lot playing live poker today. I do love watching these total idiots act all smug when they pull off an obvious bluff. They must they are awesome or something. I did watch a guy have 77 on a A73 board, get all in and lose to A3...about 10 hands later he had 88 on a AJ8 board and lost to AJ. Im glad to see that there people who run as bad as me...then again, I probably run worse than all of them. My bad luck rubbing off on everyone else, considering we are all losing out poker playing jobs. sorry for the bad beat guys. Its 8:50 right now and I cant play sngs...so I am either going to sit here and watch a movie or play diablo all night like the huge loser I am.

If you havent heard already, Party, Stars and Pacific have decided to not let US citizens play on their sites as soon as the president signs the new law....so...what am I going to do? Right now, I have no clue. Im going to cash out most of my accounts down to the very minimum to support playing $215s for the next few days. I guess I am going to stay here in Vegas for the next 2 weeks like I planned and hopefully do well in these tournaments. I might do well now that I HAVE to win. Before, live poker was sorta like gambooling. Now it is actually important. After that, assuming I cant play online anymore, I guess I am going to either give live play a shot for a few months or so and then if that fails, go back to college. I might do some sort of stock brooker school thing, as I hear its similar to poker. I honestly dont know what I am going to do. For the first time in my life, I am totally clueless. I guess, like always, I will figure something out soon.

Yesterday was kinda odd. I decided to play in the $500 plo event on stars even though I am not really sure how to play the game. I had average chips when we got down to 27 and I decided it would be more +ev to chop up my action in that than play it myself, as I had basically lucksacked my way through it. I ended up making $6000 profit on it, which is the same at 9th place money, so I am ok with that. I also made $500 from an hour worth of sngs. I then lost $4000 playing blackjack. Heres the deal on that...I am basically kinda forced to put in one more session on the trip, as im here in a comped room for 2 weeks. I am probably going to risk 2k and hope for the best. After that, I am probably going to be done with it and just stay in hotels that arent $300/night from here on out. Im up $28,000 lifetime from blackjack, which is down from a $60,000ish high, so that kinda makes me sad. Ohhh well.

Also, the senate decided to pass the antigamboooling bill...which isnt good to me. Right now, im not so sure it is going to be a HUGE deal, as actually playing isnt illegal...just funding your account is. This isnt a problem for me, as I havent deposited in a long long time, but it is bad for the fish, as they go broke a lot, which in turn makes it bad for me because there will be no fish...So...what am I going to do? Im in the process of trying to get someone who is good at sports betting to hook me up with their methods, as it seems like you could actually make profit doing that if you bet big enough. It seems like most good people end up winning like 58% of their picks, assuming they are slightly worse than even money. All you have to do is bet in like $5000 units and you will be making at least 20k/month, assuming you find good lines and good prices. It will be difficult, as I dont know many of the hardcore details acout sports, but im sure I can figure it out with like 3 months of hardcore teaching.

As for today, im probably going to sit here and play the $1000 limit event and some sngs until about 9 or so, at which time I plan to go see penn and teller again, but hopefully I will still be in the tournament. I guess ill just post again tonight.

I feel like I just left the rio. I was here for 3 weeks or so for the wsop and now im back again. Im just glad they comp my room every time. It beats paying $300/night somewhere else I think. Anyways, I am going to play some plo wcoop event in like 10 minutes and probably just sit around and play online today. Usually the first day back after a week of not playing, I get pwned hard, so im not expecting much. Hopefully I break even. Tomorrow and the next day are fairly big wcoop events, so im going to make sure I get some sleep and eat well. When my mother was here, we only ate 1 or maybe 2 meals a day, which was fine because they were big meals. I should probably eat 1 or 2 instead of 3 or 4 like I did last time I was here. Its probably -lifeEV. I guess ill post again when something happens.

Well...we got massages yesterday, which was great. After that, we went to see blue man group and phantom of the opera. Blue man was very fun. Phantom was also pretty good, although I dont care for opera stuff but it was still a pretty neat show. I went to degen gambool with the party poker host greg, who is awesome, last night...we both lost some money, which kinda sucks. I then asked the mgm people about getting a room but as soon as the host got there, who was a oung looking kid, I surrendered right in front of him like an idiot...so now they know im not an idiot. He offered me 3 nights and then a room at $169/night after that. Yeah right! I called my host at the rio and im sure he will give me whatever I want, as I took $50,000 off them at the wsop. They comped me about a months worth of rooms when I was here for the wsop, so im sure they will give me 2 weeks now. I also emailed the party host about getting my account fixed so I can actually 12 table sngs again. Im glad they will take care of it because I was tired of wasting time at cash games, although I guess $30,000 in 5 weeks isnt all that bad. I just like knowing for sure that I can make that same amount in sngs with little variance.

Anyways......we are going to get in a limo to take us to get on a helicopter to go the eat lunch in the grand canyon in about an hour, which excites my mother a lot. Its just another day to me, which probably isnt a good thing. I need to learn to be excited. We will get back from that around 6:00, at which time we are going to have to run to watch Ka. After that, we are going to eat at some nice place here at mgm, where Ka is. Finally after that, we are going to have to rush over to Bellagio to watch O, which is probably my fav show here. Im really am looking foreward to that. I guess ill post again when im done tonight.

Well, I got here around noon yesterday after flying all day. I slept on the plane, as I didnt sleep the night before. My mother was taking lots of pictures and having fun. We got to vegas and had a nice limo ride to our hotel. I went to sleep as soon as we got here. I mat up with the party host Greg at some point. He is very nice and very helpful. We walked around the hotel after sleeping and eventually met up with the group of people at 7 pm at rouge, a nice bar in mgm. Mike Sexton was there, which was nice. I dont think he remembered me knocking him out of a $5000 wsop event. They also had a awesome migician, although I think he got pissed off and left because z32 fanatic wasnt paying attention to him. I felt bad cause he just left and we didnt get to clap for him. :-(

Anyways, after thet, we went to eat at Prime at the Bellagio. They basically had everything we wanted. They had 2 types of wine and dom...and I drank a decent amount...so did my mother. It was kinda fun. I also got to talk to Greg and his boss, Mike (not Sexton) about the problems with my account. They said they would take care of it as soon as I get back home. Yay! I dont have to get a new account! We had to leave our dinner a little early because we had tikcets for Love at 10:30. We had front row seats, which was nice. It was a pretty good show, although not at good as O in my opinion. I probably would have liked it more if I actually liked the beatles. My mother seemed to enjoy it a lot.

After we got back from the show, I went to play blackjack with z32fanatic and bigjoe. I was up $4000 at one point but ended up being even. The other two guys got pwned hard, I think. Every time the deck got good we would bet big and get face smashed. Ohhh well.

We are going to get a massage at 3 today. After that, we are going to eat at P F Changs, then to see blue man group and then phantom of the opera. Hopefully they will be fun. I guess ill post again when something happens.

Im sitting here laughing at how bad I run in sngs. I am not really sure if I run bad or not in cash games because I suck, but I know I run horrible in sngs. It is really really funny to me when I push with AA and a guy calls with A2 and hits some 2s. Stuff like that has been happening all day. Actually, not all day...ive only been playing for 3 hours. The really funny part is that I am almost sure im up for this little session despite winning 20% of the hands I played. Sngs are great in that you can lose every hand you play and still break even. I went 6/3/8/41 in 215s for -$1470 and 3/2/3/13 in 530s for +2370. All in all, im not happy because I went like 0/0/0/12 in my last few games. I pretty much expected it though. I have a problem with sngs where I dont really care. I just play and whatever happens happen. I also lost 1500 in 5/10 yesterday...im probably just going to be done with that and maybe get some pointers and try 3/6 6 max. I also went to see jackass 2 last night...it is probably the funniest movie I have ever seen. I am going to watch ufc tonight at my parents house. I have like $1500 on the card, so hopefully I can not lose that...but I probably will. Hopefully I can do well in the $1000 mtt on stars tomorrow. That would be a nice one to win. Im leaving for vegas on Monday for a nice 3 week trip. Hopefully I dont lose there.

but niToday was kinda fun. I went to the casino with my parents in biloxi. I played blackjack, got up $15,000 then decided to lose it all plus $4000. Im so smart. My parents both played 4/8 limit holdem all day. They were running a promotion where if you had AA lose on by the river, you get $100...anyways, my mom didnt know this and she folded AA on the river when someone 3bet a 88664 board...She said she went on tilt after that and she ended up losing $300...my dad lost $100...we all suck. I took them to a nice place to eat called 32, which is on the 32nd floor of the casino. It was pretty good. Not worth $200 though. I was considering playing a little online tonight but now I just dont feel like it. Im probably going to sit around and play videogames or something until I get tired. I had bought $9000 worth of W$ to play the WCOOP events on stars...so far, ive played $750 worth, so I better get to playing the events. Tomorrow is some crappy event like $200 limit he, which ill probably play if I wake up in time. Also, I am considering just staying in vegas for the festa al lago at the bellagio. They have $30,000 worth of smaller buyin mtts which I will probably play if I can get people to back about 1/2 of me...so if anyone wants to buy 8% of me for $3000, let me know. They have about 8 eventsI probably have abour 30% sold right now, so it shouldnt be hard to get a few more buyers. Let me know if you are intrested. I feel kinda dirty from the casino smoke. Im going to take a shower.

This went great today. I had AA and KK many many times, which obviously means I lost a decent amount because people always outdraw me and I dont know how to fold. Actually, I was only down $600 until this last late late night session. I had AA 4 times and got stacked 3 times, 2 on Axx boards. I just need to learn that whenever someone pushes, I have to folds, even if I have the 2nd nuts. I guess I just suck at cash games. There isnt really much to justify that I am even competent besides the fact that I ran how for my first 25000 hands, which anyone can do. Im still up 30kish, so I will probably try my hardest to make something happen until I am only up $15,000, in which case I will go back to sngs. The huge problem with sngs is that you max out at $500/hr. Also, I cant play sngs on my laptop because either I have played on other peoples laptops or they have played on mine, so I am going to have to order a new computer and get a new party account. They seemed like too much work before, but after having a solid losing week, it doesnt look so bad. I also havent been outside in 4 days. I wouldnt go out tomorrow but I need more cranberry juice and I need to check the mail. Ohh well. Maybe ill go broke so I can kill myself. Only 200k more to go!

I havent been doing much the last few days. Every time I try to play some cash games I get turbopwnt in about 100 hands. I forced myself to play today and lost a nice $1700. The 2 hands I got stacked on were both retarded. I knew I was beat both times but still paid the people off because im horrible. I was hu against a guy because the table had broken and I didnt notice it. I had A3 in the bb. The guy raised and I called and it came 433. He potted it, I called. The turn was a 5, he 2/3 potted it, I called. The river was a 4. He 2/3 potted it I called. He obviously has 45. On another table, I had A5 in the bb. It folded to the sb who limped, and I made it 35, he called. The flop was 873 all clubs, I had the Ac. He checkminraised me 50 bet and I called. The turn was Tc. He bet 200 and I called. The river was a Jc. At this point, I was yelling bad things at my house because I know that somehow this guy has a Tc because god hates me. He pushes...I really want to fold but im bad so I call. Speaking of god, I hope someone out there can explain why god despises me. It is really starting to make me depressed, as it is no fun living when you are hated. Im probably just going to spend today and tomorrow and the rest of my life laying around my house and doing nothing, as I can no longer make money.

I didnt play much today because I felt like being lazy. My mother also found my old diablo2 game at her house last night so now im probably going to end up being addicted to that game again. If crack is anything like videogames, I dont see how anyone could get rid of it. Ive basically decided that I am going to make myself win at 5/10 nl...I really want to have a +$100k month sometime in the near future and getting good at cash games is the only way thats going to happen. I put in about 2500 hands today for +$1450, which kinda sucks. In my first session, I got stacked a ton but ended up with 4k on 2 of my 9 tables so I figured there was no way I was down for the session...WRONG. A nice -$600. I had a decent +2k session later though, so that makes for an acceptable day. I am going to try to be like a robot tomorrow and just work all day. I am probably just going to skip the sunday mtts cause ive been sucking at them lately. Hopefully I can figure this cash game stuff out so I can make some real money.

As in it isnt going to happen because ABC has decided they didnt want anything to do with it after paradise pokers ceo got arrested as soon as he came to America. God bless America...That being said, the partypoker guy, Greg, has offered me a seat in one of their 10 "monster" freerolls. Basically, every month, party is going to hold an 18 person tourney somewhere around the world...not in america...with a $125,000 prize pool. That by itself isnt all that great, is thats only $7000 in equity...BUT the winner of this 18 person oturney gets to play in their big big freeroll, which is going to have something stupid like a $20,000,000 prizepool...so...if you take 20 mil and divide by 10, you get 2 mil, so that 2 mil is basically part of my equity in this smaller freeroll. So, my real equity in this 18 person tourney is something like $120,000...whereas my equity in the first tourney that isnt going to happen was only $30,000. There is going to be tons of variance in this tourney that I get to play now, but it really is a good thing, as I get more equity. If I can somehow lucksack my way into winning this 18 person tourney, im set for life, as 9th place in that tourney will be something like 1 mil...and I probably wont finish last cause im pretty good at sngs. Also, all these tournies will be televised, although they dont know where yet. The first monthly one is on oct 30th at some castle in England, so I will probably do that just to make sure I get to be in it. It would suck to somehow be left out. Also, I am still taking my mother to vegas. We will probably go see lots of shows and take it easy. I guess ill post again when something happens.

I cant seem to do anything right. I had a nice slow day, playing about 30 sngs for $2000 profit and 1000 hands of 5/10 for $1000 profit when I decided I was tired of playing videogames....so I decided to play some more. I was going to jump right into some sngs but I couldnt because someone whose computer ive played on was playing. Honestly, there is nothing that pisses me off more than not being able to get in a game right when I want to. I decided to play some 5/10 and lose $2000 quickly to nice beats. I ended up being up $2000 in sngs for the day though, so it isnt all that horrible. Im probably going to sit around and do nothing tomorrow because im feeling very very depressed because things have been rather slow lately. I am up $20,000ish so far this month, so I guess I cant be too depressed. I had visions os so much more though....

These numbers for the ring games are basically for the last 4 weeks or so, as thats when I started playing them "for real"...

5/10 nl...42133 hands for $31148 profit at 3.7ptbb/100

25/50 nl...1087 hands for $12132 profit at 11.16ptbb/100

The sng numbers are from a while back...basically after I got dont playing lots of live mtts and goofing off playing nonsng stuff. The exact days was 5/17/2006...

$215s: 429/419/441/2432 for 3721 games played, $58045 profit and 7.26% roi.

530s: 49/45/48/275 for 417 games played, $16990 profit at 7.69% roi.

Also, sngs bring in a decent amount of "bonuses" so I have raked in $20500ish from those. All in all, it hasnt been a horrible last 3 or 4 months....Just looking at it, +$140K or so makes me not so concerned about the future. I feel a little better. Maybe ill work tomorrow...maybe I wont. Good thing I dont have a boss so I can do whatever I feel like.

Not much went right today. I made the 2nd nuts twice in 25/50 today (-$10000), which was fun. I also had AA in 5/10 a few times (-$2000) , which was also fun. I played some sngs today...they were fun. I either suck or im running bad...I probably suck. I guess ill just post my sng numbers from the past few days, since ive been playing them off and on, although not that much. Oh! I had a fun little hand as soon as I sat down for my night session. I noticed that there was not going to be enough $215s loading to 12 table, so I got in a $530 also. 1st hand I get AA...some guy minraises from 1st posotion. I make it 400...he obviously calls cause when people minraise preflop, they never fold. The flop comes 942. He checks, I bet 500, he calls. The turn is a K. He checks, I bet 600, he calls...now we both have 500 left. The river is a J. He check calls my push. He has KJ...great way to start off the session. It syayed very similar to that for the rest of the session. Anyways, 8 $530s played for -$1740 and 8/10/14/68 in $215s for -$1900. Im obviously very good at poker. Hopefully tomorrow I can run really bad that way I can be sure to run good when it counts.

I didnt feel like doing much today... so I didnt. I played a little 5/10 and made $1000 and a little 25/50 later at night and made $1600 at 25/50 . I feel like the people at 5/10 are no longer giving me much action with crap, which makes it hard to stack people. I might try to play some 10/20 tomorrow or maybe ill just sit around and be lazy some more. I might as well post total numbers since I havent done that in a while.

5/10: 41307 hands played for $32859 profit, which is 3.98ptbb/100

25/50: 644 hands played for $16477 profit, which is 25.59ptbb/100...which is very unsustainable.

I will probably play 25/50 as long as they are fairly weak, like they were tonight. I would play more but im scared like a little girl.

I am just running horrible. I keep getting screwed over in most any game I touch. I lost another 1k at 5/10, $400 in mtts, a step 4 higher and a step 5, and $2500 at $215s...most of which came from retarded beats. The one good thing that happened was that good2cu jokingly suggested that starting at 5/10 was dumb...i should be at 25/50...so I decided to play some while I was playing the mtts. The games seemed pretty aggressive but not THAT aggressive. It was about what I expected. There is a regular who is supposed to be good called BoostedJ that basically donated $15,000 to me. I would get something like top pair or an over pair, bet the flop and check turn then. He pushed 3 times with nothing and I called every time and won. It was pretty funny. Anyways, im fairly pissed now cause I cant win anything. The only way ive won anything in the last 3 days is if it has been handed to me. Ohh well. Im going to watch movies for the rest of the night. Also, my good friend Shannon Shorr is at the final table with the chiplead of a $1500 event at Borgata. Hopefully he wins.

today was fairly rough. I got stacked quickly in 5/10 to a rivered quads then decided to play some mtts. I got lucksacked in 7 out of the 8, which is always fun. My favroite was when I had 86 in a $500 sat to the us poker championship on stars. This guy was raising my bb every time from the button so I decided to call with 86. We were down to 24 or so people and I had 86 in the bb. The guy raised, so I called and it came 863. Yay. I checkcalled the flop. The turn was a 9. I checkpushed and he instacalls with A9. The 9 obviously comes, like normal. Tomorrow is the sunday mtts, so maybe I can win one of those. I might also play some cash tomorrow or maybe some sngs. Who knows.

After I got lucksacked in the mtts, I decided to go to bestbuy and buy $200 worth of dvds. I also went to taco bell and bought like $30 worth of food....and I ate most of it...and it was good. Anyways, its 3 am now, so I better get some sleep.

I play some heads up, trying to get some tables started and I get hit and ran for $50 by 2 different guys, which is funny, then I pwn a guy down from 1k to $500 when I get AK and get all in against AQ and I lost. I finally get in a full game due to long waiting lists and I get qQ on a Q73 board and get all in against 33. gg me. Im not playing this crap today. I was going to play sngs but I cant play them cause people I know are in them. This sucks. I guess im going to sit here and look at the internet all day.

I could have not run worse today. I got superpwned. I had set over set 7...SEVEN times and KK vs AA 5 times. Needless to say, that accounts for 12k worth of losses right there. Also, all my cbets got called and all their draws got there...I dont think there was much I could do besides learn to fold 99 on a K92 board. Anyways, I lost something like 8k today. Not too bad considering what all happened. It kinda pisses me off cause things were going nicely but hey, it happens. Now my graph went from a pretty positive slope to a huge mountain looking thing. Thats the part that makes me the saddest. Ohhh well. Totals so far are 39757 hands played, $33739 profit running at 4.24ptbb/100. Tomorrow cant be much worse. Hopefully I at least break even.

....so I figured id post a few weird hands. For some reason I cant just cut and paste the hhs here without them getting butchered so ill just explain the hands. First off, I usually talk a decent amount of shit to the guys I dont want to play against simply because I either want them to tilt or I want them to leave...I was talking mad crap to this guy when this hand came up...

We both had $1000, playing 5/10nl. I was in mid position with AJ and made it $35 like normal. This guy calls from lp. The flop comes T88 and I bet the normal $65 and he calls. The turn is a T...at this point, I dont see him calling with anything unless he had a T or an 8, which isnt likely. So...I bet $140 and he calls again...ok. Im probably beat. The river is a J. Good and bad card for me. I check and he pushes for a huge overbet. Now I dont know wtf to do so I call and he shows his KQ.

About 2 minutes later against the same guy on a different table, this hand comes up...We both have $1000 again when I get A7d from mp. This guy limps from one position in front of me, I call, the sb calls and the bb checks. the flop comes Tc6d5d. The bb bets $30, our regular calls, I call and the sb folds. The turn is the 4d. Yay. BB checks, regular bets $127, I just call and the bb folds. I dont know or really care what he has here cause im stacking off reguardless. The river is a Jc and he pushes for $866. LOL. He has the 87 for a straight.

This morning, against a super aggressive regular this hand came up. We both had $1000 and this guy made it $40 from 1st position. I call from the sb with 66 and the bb also calls. The flop is 522, which is probably good for me. I check call his $90 bet, letting him bluff at it if he feels like it and saving money when im behind. The turn is a 7. I check call a $220 bet. At this point, he we both have about $650 left. I dont see him betting a hand like AA or KK on the river for fear of a slowplayed set, as I would probably play it the same way. So...in my mind, he either has a set, which is unlikely cause I dont think he raises tiny pairs from 1st position, or AK or AQ. So..a 3 comes on the river and I check calls his push and he has AK.

Im finally getting used to playing decently long hours. I got in a nice 5000 hands today for something around $7000 profit, which is nice. I had a really really rough -$6000 swing in the middle of the day due to missing every hand and losing to every draw but took a break and came back and went on a sick little heater and hit basically every hand I played. Anyways, totals since ive been playing 5/10nl full ring, which has been 16 days, counting a 3 day vacation to alabama, come out to a nice 36426 hands for $41779 profit, which is 5.73ptbb/100. All in all, im estatic. I would go to sleep but im watching lacky from 2+2 pwn another mtt. This guy is making a decent sized final table every day it seems. He must be doing something right. Congrats to him.

I also tried to bluff a little more today but people dont fold, so im probably going to take that out of my playbook, as there just seems to be no point in it. I really do love my job. It is great. I also really like cash games a lot more than sngs. I did play 3 $555 sngs on stars today and won $700ish, which is nice. I got in 4683 hands today. Thats a lot for me...im worn out. Ive been 12 tabling when possible for the last 2 days and I think it keeps me from doing any tricky plays that might cost me money. Anyways, total results...27443 hands played for $34632 profit. Yay!

It seemed like every time I got all in against the idiot short stacks they would hit 2 pair on my AA...Despite that, I had a super good day. Not much happened today. I spent the first hour or so writing the alabama trip report then I got to work. I also went to go see little miss sunshine, which was great. I ran pretty damn bad today. I dont think I hit a single important draw and I think basically every draw got there against me. I guess that happens sometimes. Total numbers for 5/10 nl so far are 18302 hands played, $20797 won for 5.68ptbb/100. Im stil happy with these numbers. I will probably attempt to move to 10/20 after 25000 hands or so...or I might not. Who knows.

Also, my good friend Adam Geyer, Simmsux on Stars, won a nice $150,000. Im so proud of him! Thats the same tourney I took 2nd in a few months ago, Im glad he bested me by one. Yay.

Alabama trip report

I figured id post this since I learned a great deal about my life on this trip, although many probably wont see it that way. This is also going to be pretty long, so dont read it if you dont want to read a novel.

When I was in Ney York a few weeks ago, Shannon Shorr, my poker travel partner and #4 ranked player of the year by cardplayer, and his girlfriend, Stephanie, invited me to come up for the weekend and hang out with them in Tuscaloosa and watch the Alabama vs Hawaii game...This long trip report is what went down.

Before this trip, I was thinking to myself about how fortunate I have been with my extreme lack of car trouble on these long trips. I left my house a little late, around 1 pm, on thu, because I decided to stop by my parents house and say bye before I left. My dad wanted to talk about poker, as I have been trying to help him with the game. He has been reading small stakes holdem and I think he is picking up the finer points, which is great. Anyways, I get on the road around 1:30 and everything goes great for the first hour and a half or so. I was listening to 2 audiobooks, How to Make People Like You in 90 Seconds or Less, and The Art of Happiness. Both are very insightful. Anyways, a little while into the trip I notice that the ride is getting gradually rougher. I just assume that Alabama roads are crappy and keep driving 100mph. Eventually my front right tire exploded, basically destroying my wheel well and forcing me to stop and call for help. I first try to call my parents but they didnt answer. I then called 411 and called about 8 tow truck places to come out and put my spare tire on, as I didnt have a jack pr a lug nut wrench in my car for some unknown reason. I finally get through to one company who will come get me but then I have no clue where im at...I just knew I had passed evergreen alabama. Anyways, they tell me to go find a road sign and call them back...Now, it was like 95 degrees out and there wasnt a road sign in sight. I decided to run to the top of the hill and see if I could see any but there were no signs at all. About this time, about 1 hour after I stopped, I finally got my parents on the phone and they used some AAA service and got a wrecker on the way but somewhere in the telephone game that was going on, the wrecker people thought my car was in front of some exit whereas I had already passed that exit. I sat in my car and watched 4 episodes of punkd on my video iPod before the guy got there. He was very nice and got my spare put on nicely. I was back on my way...but then I hear something grinding on my wheel...

My wheel well had been splintered and part of the plastic/rubber stuff was rubbing on my wheel. I called my dad and he told me to find something to but it off asap, as that would pop that tire after a while. I stopped at some shoe store and asked to use their scissors but they didnt want to give them to me because they were scared I would break them...so I asked if I could but them for $20...they still didnt want to get rid of them but they finally did. I had to cut the whole whell well out, which was a huge pain. Oh yeah, I was covered in mud at this point because the road where I stopped only had mud on the side of it, so people probably thought I was some random bum. I had my parents call the walmart about 3 exits away about getting me a new tire and they said they closed at 7 pm. It was about 6:00 then, so I figured I had pleanty of time. I get there to find out that it closed at 5:00. great. I had my parents call around and they found a Sears in Montgomery that was open until 9:00 and they would fix it. I finally got there around 7:00 but they couldnt get to it until 8:30...yay. I spent the next hour and a half walking around the mall and buying new clothes to change into. It was a nice little break.

This whole situation was funny to me because to me, the tire exploding was no big deal but it seemed to be a huge deal to everyone else. I guess I have learned to not worry about things you have little control over, which is probably a good thing, but probably seperates me from the vast majority of society. Oh well...I dont care.

I eventually get to Tuscaloosa around 11:00 and Shannon has me meet him and some of his friends at some sports bar. I picked up Shannon outside and we went to try to find a parking spot, as this street we were on was flooded with drunk college kids. We eventually found a spot at Jimmy Johns sub shop but there was a sign saying that we would be towed if we wernt customers...we decided they probably wouldnt tow me, so we went to the bar. Shannon introduced me to all his friends as "one of the top 25 online players in the world" which is kinda funny, as im probably only in the top 50. He introduced to me to a bunch of people, all of whom were very nice. I feel bad because I missed half of their names...Oh well. Stephanie makes some good drink so she kept feeding them to me, as I dont really like beer. I eventually got fairly drunk/ We eventually went to Shannons house but I left my car at the sub shop, as I was in no shape to drive. I quickly crashed on the couch.

Day before Game Day:

I woke up around 10:30 the next morning, which is very abnormal for me. I decided to get online and log a session but couldnt because I couldnt figure out how to get their wireless internet to work with my laptop. I watched some movies on my computer until about 1:00 when Shannon woke up. We decided to go get my car then go get some food. We showed up at the sub shop to find that my car was gone...yay. We called the towing company that services that parking lot but they said they didnt have my car. YAY. We went to eat at some Italian sub shop, which was very good. We called around but no one had my car. At this point, I was rooting for it to be stolen so I could fly home instead of drive. Shannon got the idea that maybe the car had just gotten towed and the people didnt know they had taken my car yet, so he called back the 1st place he called and they said they had it. Bad beat for me. We finish our food and head over there to get my car. It was kina funny, because again, everyone was making such a big deal out of it, but to me, it was just another little thing that I had no control over at that point. I knew where my car was at...so whats the big deal? They charged us $185 to get my car out. Shannon offered to pay $100 of it, which was nice of him. We eventually went back to his place and decided to put in a session...

I was still having problems but eventually got some shaky connection established. I didnt play long before it went out on my again, so I decided to just stop and watch Shannon. He plays suprisingly similar to me, which is good to know. I always like watching and learning from very good people. If I pick up one little thing that helps me fix leaks in my game, it is well worth it. He played for a while and made a nice $16,000 playing 25/50. Yay for him. I made a huge $500 in my 20 minute session. After he finished playing, we watched Next on MTV for about 4 hours. Its such a funny show, mainly because it shows how stupid people are. After that, decided to go eat some Arbys then go to one of Shannons friends houses to chill. We stayed there for a while before deciding to go to to some frat house parties, which were kinda neat then to the Filling Station so they could all get drunk...ive learned that college kids like to get drunk.

The Filling Station would have been a nice little bar except for the fact that there was some band playing other peoples song. That in itself wasnt a problem, but it was really really really loud. If anyone knows me, they know I hate loud stuff, especially when it sounds bad. I got to meed Shannons sister and her room mate here. They were both very nice. Shannon decided to be the balla he is and bought 30 $1 shots for everyone. At this point, I had no desire to drink ever again so I just sat and tried to go deaf, as that is obviously the point of these hangouts. We finally went home and I crashed on the couch again.

Game day:

I woke up the next day around 2pm. Stephanie and her sister Gemma, who is also very nice, came over brought us Checkers to eat. We then went to the same friends house from the night before for a keg party. College kids love to drink. We sat around there from 2 pm until about 5 pm, when we decided to go get seats for the ball game. If you have never been to a big college football game, I suggest you go just once. It is great seeing a bunch of drunk kids staggering around the streets. We struggled through the crowd but eventually found a big enough group of open seats for the 20 or so people in our group. Before the game, they were showing a slide show with words that "define" Alabama football...like courage, determination, power, agility...they listed about 15 words. The last one was Class...How nice. Then they started announcing the names of the started from Hawaii...They would say their name then the whole crowd would yell "SUCKS!"...so...Tom Arnold "SUCKS" Brad Smith "SUCKS" and so on. How classy. The crowd went fairly crazy when their own team was being introduced. At this point I learned something else new about college football. Apparently you have to stand up for the entire game except during time outs and half time. Also, you have to stand on the bleacher where the person in front of you is supposed to sit. This has to be the dumbest idea I have ever heard in my life.

I also noticed that whenever one of the referees would make a call against Alabama, even though it is obviously the correct call, everyone would booooo and say how bad the refs are. This didnt really suprise me though, as most people didnt actually watch the ball game. They just yelled when everyone else did. I also thought it was really funny when one of Alabamas people missed a ball. You would hear a ton of people saying how bad he sucks and he should never play again, yet they loved him when he was introduced a few hours earlier. Its amazing how quick the mob turns on its own people.

By the 4th quarter, probably half of what was being said around the stadium was "my feet hurt" " my feet are sore" but very few people actually sat down. Me and Shannon both sat from time to time though because we are both ballas and dont care what other people think. After all, we didnt get where we are at today by following the typical life pattern of go to college, work for the man, have kids, pay off house, die.

After the game, they showed a shorts version of the slideshow from earlier, again ending with Class...Right after that, the band played some song where the crowd yelled "hawaii, we just beat the hell out of you." How classy. This got me to thinking though...if they are doing this kinda of retarded stuff in Alabama, they are almost certainly doing it at every other football game. It seems like Amercians love to try to make other humans, as well as themselves, feel bad. I want to make it perfectly clear that this is no dis on the people of Alabama, as they treated me great o this trip. This is just an observation of people on a whole, which makes me sad. It discourages me to know that the future of this counrty is going to depend on people who get drunk and tell people how bad we just beat them. Oh well. Such is life.

After the game, we went back to the same house that had the kegger earlier. We sat around and watched Shannon on the Aussie Millions on tv, which was pretty cool. They also cooked hot dogs and ham burgers but I didnt eat any because everyone else ate them and I didnt want to look like an asshole by jumping in line first. I was fairly hungry though, as I hadnt eaten since 2:00 and it was like 11:00 at this point. Also, it seemed like the group at this house would rag fairly hard on whoever wasnt drinking at the house. I didnt drink after the game, as I was planning on driving home so I could play the sunday mtts, and people kept asking me why I wasnt drinking. People who know me will tell you that I am probably the most anti-alchohol person they know. I just dont understand the point of getting drunk and losing all your senses. I REALLY dont understand the point of drinking stuff like beer that tastes horrible. I just dont see many more -ev things in life. Ive learned from observing the people in my own town as well as people in alabama and all around the world that young people tend to try to do the most -ev things possible. I simply cant understand why they would do many of the things they do unless they are trying their hardest to ruin their lives. I also want to make it known that ballas dont give in to peer pressure. Ballas define what cool is. I noticed that around town and in alabama, it is seems to be an insult if you dont drink their beer. Sorry...but I just dont want to, so im not. I also noticed the complete lack of peer pressure when I hang out with my balla friends. I get offered the drinks once, and when I refuse, they stop asking, which I really do appreciate. I wonder if college kids think about such things the way I do or if they are just oblivious to these things. Ohhh well. So much for Americas future...

I left around 1:00 pm to go home. I was super hungry so I was looking for the first taco bell, steaknshake or krystals so I could get some food. I eventually found a sign for a steaknshake but when I got there, it was closed....aparently they arent open 24/7 in Alabama. I kept driving and didnt see a sign for anything until I got to Montgomery. It turns out that the Krystals was in the hardcore ghetto. There was a huge line of cars to get food, but I didnt care because I was hungry. After waiting for about 20 minutes, i saw a cracked out pimp looking guy walk over to the dumbster, pull down his pants, take a crap, then wipe his ass with some paper from the trash can...It was almost unreal. He then got in a fight with some woman who was obviously a whore right in front of my car, demanding she give him what she owed him. Again...almost unreal. I had like $1500 on me at this point so I started slowly hiding it in my car, out of my wallet. I waited 20 more minutes in line before finally getting to order. I got out of there as soon as fast as I could. More hope for America.

About 2 hours from my home, I noticed my car start to shake again...great. I got out and saw that one of the lugbolts on my wheel was gone and another was loose....good thinf I stopped and fixed it before it fell off. I got to walmart and bought some lug nuts and gixed the problem. The drive home was rather tense, as I was worried that my tires woulb blow at every little bump in the road and that I might fall asleep. I finally got home around 6 am.

All in all, it was a great trip. I had a pretty good time and learned a lot about humanity. Ive also decided to make the most +ev plays I can in my life, hopefully to make up for a few of the -ev plays that everyone else makes. I am reading a book called "the Purpose Driven Life." I guess right now I am just trying to find my purpose, as I know it isnt to be another random person who does nothing with their life. I have been blessed for a reason. Why am I so weird and why cant I enjoy things that everyone else my age likes? Maybe im just an old man at heart. We went out to 2 frat parties and some bar tonight. I could stand the frat parties but the bar was just stooopid loud and the band didnt do much for me. I feel kinda bad because all the people I have met here are very nice but I probably looked like an asshole tonight simply because I was fairly depressed. Bars usually tend to make me depressed for some reason. Most everyone here seems really nice. I also got to meet and talk to Shannons sister and her room mate for a while, even though we didnt get much talking in through the stoooopid loud band. They both seemed very nice. Tomorrow we are supposed to go to some keg party around noon...in 8 hours...and then to the football game. Hopefully I can figure out a way to enjoy it and not look like a jerk.

On the way up here, my cars tire blew and messed up my car. I left Pensacola around 1 pm and got to Tuscaloosa around 10:30...It was a pretty crappy trip but not so bad because I had a few audiobooks I needed to listen to. I could type out a nice long trip report but I dont feel like it and I think we are about to go get some food. I got fairly drunk at a bar last night, which was fun. Im going to try to stay fairly sober for the rest of the trip because I need to work at some point and I dont like to when im drunk. We are going to get my car then get some food. Well, im one week into this full ring stuff and everything is going well. I made a nice $2000 at 25/50 while waiting to get in 5/10, which is nice. Im not sure how many hands I played today, so I will just give the total numbers for the whole week...I have played 15613 hands for $21695 profit, which is 6.95ptbb/100. I am very happy with the results but i am not happy that I only got 15k hands in in a week. I was hoping the number would be somewhere around 20k but I am just too lazy. I did get in 3000 today and was going to do more but I just got stupidly beat as soon as I started up some games so I decided to take the night off. It was kinda funny. I had 88 on a 862 board. I checkraised the flop and the guy calls, the turn is a T, I check push this and the guy thinks and calls with QJ so I lose when the 9 comes. Ohhh well. I did make $300 in that short sitting and $700 from 25/50 on stars, so its all good, I guess. Also, my won $ at showdown is starting to climb from 45% to around 49%, which is in the right direction. Ive basically stopped paying people off with iffy hands and I think it is improving my results. All in all, im happy.

Tomorrow I am going to Tuscaloosa Alabama to hang out with Shannon Shorr. We are going to see some football game. I also dont know if I am going to go to any live tournies in the next month or if I am going to sit at home and grind. I want to go play big live mtts but I feel as if I need to work, especially since ive been doing well lately. Im considering going to Borgata, the EPTs in Barcelona and London, Aruba, and also Tunica. I dont know what im going to do. I'll figure it out soon enough.

I should have been down a lot today but I ended being up $1400ish, for a total of $16,018 over 12553 hands in the last 6 days. I had planned on playing more tonight but I got super rigged playing 3 handed against this lag maniac who had AA on a AJJxx board when I had AJ. I guess riggedness happens sometimes. I started the day off getting down a nice $3000 mainly due to stupid stuff as well. Im getting better at keeping my cool and playing through the rough times, I think. I just plain dont feel like playing now, as I have a few new poker books I need to read.

Today was nice. I stacked people a lot. I got stacked a few times. I guess it was about a typical day...I might have been running a little hot though. Playing cash is kinda funny because I usually have no clue how much I am up or down...I just know if I am up or down. So...in the last 5 days, ive gotten in 9987 hands running at 7.31ptbb/100 for a nice $14605 profit. All in all, im happy with the results. Hopefully I can keep them up for another 10k hands or so. If that happens, ill probably move up to 10/20 and see how that goes. Im going ot try to get in a bunch of hands tomorrow, but for some reason, I just dont like putting in long sessions of cash. Maybe ill learn to do that some day.

Im tired so this is going to be short. I would up around 10 am and me, my dad, and one of my friends went to the casino in biloxi. My dad won $200 from 4/8 limit, which made me happy for him. I lost $4500, which I didnt really care about. Its kinda weird that seeing my dad win $200 makes me happy but seeing myself lose $4500 doesnt bother me. Maybe its a good thing. I came home and 9 tables 5/10 for 30 minutes before getting tired. I made $1200, so thats nice...nothing went wrong in that session at all. Hopefully I can get a nice long night of sleep and pwn the 5/10 tomorrow.

Well, I didnt get in many hands today but the results were nice. I have now played 8000 hands of 5/10nl and am up $8705. While 8k hands is nothing, it is still nice to have a decent win rate. Also, when i tried to get in the games this morning, they all had 10+ person wait lists...so I decided to gambool a little and play 25/50 on stars, as I have money in there that I cant really cash out right now...so if i lose it, its no big deal and if i win, thats nice too. I ended up winning $6000 while i was waiting to get in 5/10. Some guy just potted every street with nothing and I called him down with trips. Easy game. I also played a $1000 hu sng while I was watching ufc at my parents tonight, which I lost due to poor play. All in all, it was a nice day. Tomorrow, I am going with my parents and one of my friends to the casino in biloxi to gambooool. Hopefully i can win 5k or something nice from degening it up. I guess ill post again when I play some more.

I dont think I hit a single hand today. I basically just hung around all day 9 and 12 tabling 5/10nl. I tried to go back to 6 tabling but it just seemed retarded when I have the ability to 12 table. 9 seems like a nice relaxing fit right now. I honestly think I am horrible though. I dont think im betting enough and making enough plays...but every time I bluff, I get called. MAybe im just bad. Anyways, ive played 7399 hands for $6673 profit. That isnt bad at all, but I am kinda discouraged by losing $2500 today. Tomorrow is going to be a short day because I have a bunch of stuff to do.

I think im finding my leaks! YAY. There is one thing I dont like about cash...it is that I want to quit as soon as I get stacked. I thought about why this is, as it doesnt really bother me when I lose a $2000 sng, but if I lose basically any medium or big hand on the river, it pisses me off. I figured out that it must be because im not sure if I am making the correct plays or if I am playing like a moron. Ive also noticed that when I raise with something like Axs from late position and a guy with 20 or so bbs from the bb calls and I flop an A, I always donate to them. Ive learned to stop that. I dont really know what else besides the fact that top pair sucks in cash games, whereas its the nuts in sngs. In sngs, it seems that it is much more important to get full value out of any semidecent hand you get...this is odd though because in sngs, the typical bet postflop is 1/2 - 2/3 the pot whereas it seems like it is 2/3 - 1/1 the pot in cash. Very odd, as it seems to go against what I just said. Maybe ill figure out this game someday.

Anyways, ive played 4260 hands, 9 tabling, in the last 2 days running at 9.48bb/100 and $8079 profit, which is great....hopefully I can keep it up. I feel like I am running fairly hot, although I did have 500 hands or so where I just plain got pwned hard. Every hand I made was the 2nd nuts and someone else had the nuts. I guess that happens though. I just have to learn to push through it and not feel like I need to take a break. Hopefully I can get in some more hands tomorrow.

Odd things are happening in my mind. Ive been working a lot for the past few days. Ive also been running very bad. Every time I get all in, I know I will usually have the best hand...I also know that when I dont have the best hand, ive stolen anough blinds to make it +ev anyways. As soon as I get called, I fully expect to lose...probably because thats what has been happening for the last few days. Also, I have noticed that none of the food in my fridge looks tasty...so i havent been eating much. Im throughly pissed off right now as well. I guess I just dont like losing when I play perfect. Ohhhh well. Also, I cant play with 4 regulars in the $215s, which also puts me on megatilt. There is nothing worse than getting in 4 games and then having to compete with 2 other people to get in the games. It almost makes them not worth playing....actually, it does make them not worth playing. So...im probably going to attempt to play some nl cash tonight. I went 8/4/6/48 in $215s and 1/4/1/14 in $530s for -$2490. All in all, I despise poker...thats pretty much it.

Last night/today sucked....really bad. Ill make it short and get to the results...I took 5th in a step 4 higher for -$1650, 11/9/7/73 in $215s for -$2300 and 6/5/3/41 in $530s for -$3650 for a nice -$7600 day. All in all, it isnt so bad. I had a -7k day on 8/9 and still had a +$8000 week. So far, since ive been playing sngs again hardcore, I have yet to have a losing week, which is quite nice. One is bound to come along eventually. Ive been thinking about if I should play $530s or not and I really havent decided on anything. As soon as I decide to write them off, I win 2 or 3 in a row...Oh well. i'll probably play the games in a 2:1 ratio or so, as it seems to work well with the speed that the games fill. Im going to watch a little tv then probably work some more, as 150 games just doesnt feel like enough to make it worth waking up anymore.

I finished up my early session tonight at 11pmish, so I still hae lots of time to do whatever tonight. I had only gotten in 110 games earlier today, so I felt like i havent played enough today. Every time I have one of these late night sessions I do horrible. Tonught was special though. Tonight was one of those nights that make for losing months. Its probably a good thing the games stopped filling, otherwise id still be in there working. I had a nice 30 game otm streak, 18 $215s and 12 $530s. Basically, im done with $530s unless I am somehow forced to play them. There is no way im a winning player in them. Everyone obviously lied to me whne they told me i was good. All in all, I despise poker and all the lucksacking fish that god smiles down on. Hopefully soon they will run bad in life and get aids. -$10,000... ship the dough to the lucksacking retards.

I basically learned in NY that I have no patience anymore. In both of the live mtts I played, I couldnt wait to lose. I was constantly thinking "please god let me get bad beat so I can get out of here." I despise live mtts. That being said, I might end up going to barcelona and london for some ept events. I dont know why. Maybe I just like to chill with poker players or maybe im hoping that eventually I wont be unlucky. Who knows. I will probably go if I make $30000 or so online in the next 2 weeks. As for sngs, I have basically become convinced by my peers that I am damn good at sngs...good enough that I should be playing every $530 that runs. I guess thats going to be the plan for the next week, at least. I felt a little rushed while 12 tabling today, which isnt good. Hopefully that will fix itself once I get back in the swing of things. As for results, I went 3/0/0/7 in $530s while in ny but I ran like crap today, so I will just group them all together to make them look pretty. I went 9/9/10/50 in $215s for $1630 profit and 6/2/5/26 in $530s for $2330 profit. All in all, im disappointed.

Everything is going well here I guess. Im sitting here basically 4 tabling $530s cause z32fanatic is playing 215s and he keeps losing so he never gets in 12....so im just getting in every 530....all 4 of them that run at a time. I lost the $1000 mtt yesterday in about 3 hours which sucked. I was really tired though, so I was almost begging to lose. Deuce2high took 7th but I think he got kinda screwed at the final table. Party finally got their speeds fixed, which is the best news I could have heard. So far, im up $12000 fro flipping coins and $4600 from blackjack. Im just running good I guess. There are also 2 super hot turndown service girls, so I have to make sure im off the computer by 6:30 so I can hit on them. ;-) I think Shannon wants to go play retard bingo or some crap tonight at 7. Tomorrow is the $5000 mtt at 10 am...which is super early. Im going to try to be asleep tonight by 11 pm or so, which probably isnt going to happen. Ill probably just post again when I get home.

I had to wake up early, around noon, for the maids to clean my house. They got it done pretty fast, which was nice. I dont kno how I didnt get in very many games today. I guess because its still early. I have to be up around 8 am tomorrow for the alarm people to put in the system. I will be leaving for the airport after that for what will hopefully be a nice relaxing trip. I went 7/1/3/26 in $215s for a small +$846 profit. Anyways...total stats since I might not update for a few days....

Well..I woke up around 1 and chilled around the house until the alarm guy came over. I thought they were going to install it today but it was just the sales guy. It cost like $700...REDIC. Anyways, I played a few sngs after that then I played some more mario64. I was supposed to go eat with one of my friends at 5 but it ended up being 6, so I played more 64 than I really wanted. Anyways, I came home, played a few more sngs til I got bored, and just finished up mario64, getting all the stars. woohoo. Tomorrow a maid ot comming sometime between 12 and 3, so im going to have to be up for that. The next day, the alarm people are comming at 8:30 am...That is going to be rough. Im flying out later that day for Turning Stone for the mtts. It seems like almost everyone I now is going to be there. I dont really know why, but it should be a fun trip. Anyways, I went 4/3/1/14 in $215s for a nice +$1470.

I didnt do all that much today. Im trying to get myself unburnt out. I went 3/7/4/18 in $215s for +$1920...thats it. I bought a N64 and all the good games...all 6 or 7 of them...so ill probably be playing that for the next month or so til i beat them all. I was thinking about how few really good games there are for most video game systems. I can only think of like 10 on ps2 and very few for xbox...I guess the old ones really are the good ones. Id probably say super nintendo has the most...I also had a few small screw ups in my stats for the last few times I posted them. I basically left out all the losses for a week, which was like 300 of them. My profit was still correct but my roi will be slightly lower. It doesnt really matter to me as long as im up what I think im up. I'll just fix it next time I post the stats. I'll probably take tomorrow fairly easy too. Im supposed to go eat with a friend at 5, so ill play a little before that and see how it goes. Also, I am for sure going to Turning Stone for their $5000 mtt this weekend. Im going to be rooming with Shannon Shorr and Chip, z32 fanatic. It seems like there are going to be a bunch of sng players there, so it should be a pretty fun, relazing trip. I decided that I would take a break from poker for a day. I took my brother to see some movie this morning then I decided to call up some old poker buddies and we decided to go play some Magic just to goof off. I have seemed to get in the pattern lately of pwning the fish hard in the afternoon then losing it all back at night. I need to figure out how to stop this. I had a nice 0/0/0/19 streak in $215s today which made for a small losing day. I think I think I am running worse than I actually am because I am able to sit here and watch myself get 3 outered every time I lose. I never realized that I rarely get in with the worst hand. I figured I got in with the worst like 40% of the time or something. Anyways...1/1/3/12 in $530s for -$2010 and 6/3/5/34 in 215s for -305. Im getting burnt out playing 8+ hours a day. Party...PLEASE fix your site so I dont despise poker more than I despise my life. Thank you.

If I ran normal today, I would have been up $20,000...instead I ran like total crap and lost to almost every 2 outer i got all in against. I also was up $8000 at one point today...then I lost every hand I played. Its very annoying. I guess I should be used to it. People are always going to call my pushes with 2 outers and always draw out on me cause god doesnt like me. Maybe ill learn to accept it one day. Anyways...8/5/3/31 in 215s for +$3170 and 4/4/3/22 in $530s for +$1510...Maybe tomorrow will be kind.

Its still early, so it might turn around, but im getting pwned hard. Actually...it isnt so bad. I only down like $3500. It just sucks to lose to 2 outers every time on the bubble, which has happened 6 times in 23 games so far. Ohh well. I just had to whine a little.

Ok...the day didnt get better...it got much worse. yay. I basically went 0/0/0/x in my last sitting, almost all to 3 outers, which is always fun. Anyways, 1/1/1/14 in 215s for -1665 and 0/1/2/14 in 530s for -5510. Im probably going to quit for tonight and just play some stupid mtts here and there. I might just play 215s tomorrow to give myself a rest...or I might just sit around and watch tv all day. I also might go on a vacation somewhere. Who knows.

I ran horrible today. Simple as that. I lost so soooooo many 2 outers it was redic. There were 2 huge losing players playing most of the night tonight so I put in a lot of games even though I didnt really want to play. It also didnt help that I wasnt winning any coin flips heads up. I went 2/4/1/13 in $215s for $500 profit and 3/3/9/32 in $530s for $3910 loss. Really though, if -7 buyins is the typical "bad" day, these $530s are going to be easy.

Tomorrow some carpet cleaning people are going to be here so I have to get all the stuff off my floors, which is going to suck. There also seems to be water from under my floor causing my carpet in one room to be damp, so im probably going to have to be up early...like 8 am early to take care of that. I hate when the games are perfect but I still get pwned. Oh well...tomorrow will be better.

Im starting to expect too much. I was up $8000 today but ended up pissing $4000 of it away and that makes me sad...but I shouldnt be sad cause im up 4k. $4000 a year ago would have made me estatic...now its almost expected. Its amazing to me the way my outlook on most everything in life has changed in the last 2 years. Two years ago, if you asked me what a successful person is, I would have said someone who goes to college and finds a job and has a family. Now i see that person as someone who doesnt need school to make a crappy 40k a year. I also would have said a "good" poker player was someone who sat around and was very patient waiting for good cards. Now, a good poker player, in my eyes, is a LAG maniac like Phil Ivey. I also was basically content working a $10/hr job, bringing in $1500/month. Now $1000 days are a must and $2500 is almost expected. That probably isnt good. I really need to learn to be happy with nothing, although that seems hard when you are pwning the fish and raking in the dough. Anyways...enough rambling.

I went 3/1/2/8 in $215s for $1390 profit and 4/4/0/17 in $530s for $2750 profit. I noticed that there were a lot more regulars in the $530s tonight in my last 2 sessions, where I basically went 0/0/0/x. I might have to jump back to $215s if the games start fulling up with winning players instead of the total idiots that have been playing. It also seems like the games are filling rather quickly tonight. Im not too sure why this is...It might just be because the wsop is almost over or maybe because people need to get their party fix. Oh well. I guess im going to watch some tv then go to sleep.

I woke up early, around 11:30 to have lunch with my parents. I had left my cell phone charger in vegas, so I used their to charge my phone. I called to check my messages and party told me to call them about some cash out...great. I tried to log into my other party account that had $1100 in it and I was told my password was wrong as well as my email address to retrieve my password was wrong. Eventually someone from paypro told me that someone had hacked my account and cashed out the $1100. They said they are going to investigate and let me know what they find in the next day or two. They claimed that they would help me prosecute whoever they find it to be and that the typical jail time for wire fraud is 10 years. 10 years for $1100 would be rough.
Anyways, I came home and went 3/0/0/1 in my 4 first sngs but then the day went downhill from there...as i was typing this blog out, I was in 2 $530s with like 1000 chips each. There was no way I should have gotten itm in either of these games but these guys just decided to let me take a 2nd and a 3rd, making for a decent day. I went 2/1/1/6 in $215s for $850 profit and 2/3/4/13 in $530s for $1840 profit. It was kinda short day but im tired and want to sit and watch tv.

I woke up early, like I planned, and played 2 ept qualifiers, a $320 mtt on stars, and a bunch of $530s. Nothing went right in any of the mtts. I got 2 outered in 2 of them and 3 outered in the other. As for the 530s, I went 0/0/0/14...great. I really wasnt all that concerned though, as I knew a downswing was comming. When you are almost expecting to lose, it isnt so bad when it happens. Maybe I should always expect to win but not care if I lose. I guess thats where I need to strive to get. Anyways, since I was down $8000ish, I decided to take a break...then 2 minutes later, I decided that was dumb and that I was going to play all day. I ended up going 2/4/3/20 in $215s for -$635 and 8/2/5/23 in $530s for +$7860. 70 games in a day, 5 tabling is rough. Ive basically been playing all day with one one hour break. I dont like it, but it seems to make money. Tomorrow I will probably play the mtts on stars and party. I guess im going to go to walmart to buy food and then chill for the rest of the night.

My mother came over around 10 am to help make my house look nicer. She painted some of the cabinets and did some stuff to the tile floors. My mother is so kind. Anyways, I helped her with that stuff until about noon then I went back to sleep. I woke up around 3 pm and had a normal day from there. I went 2/2/1/7 in the 215s for $1020 profit and 3/4/1/12 in the 530s for $3900 profit. Its nice to run good. Its also nice to have very few regulars in the games. I was talking to another sng player and he asked who to look out for in the 215s...I scanned the 2 games I was in and there was one semidecent regular out of the 18 other people seated. I couldnt ask for softer games. There were also 2 well known big cash game players playing the 530s tonight and they obviously didnt know how to play sngs. I guess thats good for me. Anyways, tomorrow there are 2 ept qualifiers early in the morning with the first one starting at 11:30. I am going to try my hardest to wake up and play them even though im not good at waking up early. Im planning on going to Barcelona in 6 weeks so winning the seat would help for sure. Hopefully I do well in that. Also, to the best of my knowledge, Shannon Shorr and Alan Sass are still in the main event. Hopefully they can both get fairly deep and bring home a nice amount of money.

Every day after I have a really good day I have a weird anxiety about playing the next day, I guess because I fear getting pwned hard. I did get pwned nicely in my first set but I managed to do well for the rest of the day. I would play for like an hour and a half then take an hour break...I really need to break that habit. anyways, I went 2/2/8(!!)/17 in $215s for $165 profit and 3/4/2/12 in $530s for $4370 profit....ok...heres total numbers.

215s: 340/343/371/1609 for $53040 profit, 9.2% roi and 39.5% itm

As for the $530s, I guess I am going to start playing them fairly full time, at least until I start running bad in them. Heres the few results I have so far...

530s: 6/8/6/18 for $12860 profit, 64% roi and 52% itm.

Obviously these results mean nothing except for that I have been winning coin flips a lot in the last 2 days. I hope I can force myself to want to play more in the upcomming days. I really feel bad about sitting around and putting in only 6-8 hours of 5 tabling. I guess I just like to get in 100 games a day and that simply doesnt happen while 5 tabling. Hopefully party will get their act together soon.

Since I cant 12 table, I figured id try to learn to play better. Basically, im 5 tabling the $530 and $215 speed sngs on party. Ive had no problem with their software except when I open up 6 games, which im not going to do any more until the tech guy tells me party is fixed. If I dont know what to do in a spot, im putting it in sng power tools and seeing what the right play is. Its amazing how much free time I have when i only 5 table. Ive already bought $500 worth of random stuff off ebay. I also ordered some nike shoes that say shipit on one shoe and holla on the other. Ive been having pretty decent results so far, as I have been making very few mistakes...like 0 so far, plus im running good. Its also 100% impossible for me to go on tilt while 5 tabling. There just arent enough stupid beaqts to piss me off. Ive figured it out that it usually takes about 20 3 outers or worse in a short period of time to make me tilty.
Well....im sitting here finishing up 3 games so I guess ill type whatever comes to my mind. Ok..I am tired of seeing these little girls profiles on myspace and facebook that say that they arent afraid to speak their mind, like this is some sort of uncommon thing. I guess it just pisses me off because the worst thing that goes through their minds is "i dont like you" whereas when I say the things that go through my mind, it scares people. Its like people cant understand why I want people to die sometimes or something.I dont get it. Sometimes I wish I was a normal person working a normal job. I also get pissed that people, mainly stupid american people, think their way is always the best way. also, I think that whoever makes the thai chicken that I eat all the time has stopped making it. I was forced to buy a bunch of random crap at the store today that I might not like. Ohhh well.
In the $530s, ive noticed that the good players play much better than the good players in the 215s...but the bad players play much worse than the bad players at the 215s. Im very confidant that 530s could be beat for a good amount if you just find games with a few horrible people and beat their head in. Also, it seems like the 530s end up being 4 handed earlier than 215s on average. Maybe this is just due to my small sample size, but I would think it would be different. I also dont like how I only get in like 8 games per hour 5 tabling compared to my usual 18 per hour. I get really really bored sitting here doing nothing. I guess I better get used to it. At least I am getting a ton of good notes on people.

Anyways, I went 1/1/3/8 in the $215s for a huge $5 profit and 3/4/4/6 in the $530s for a tiny $8490 profit. All in all, it was a nice day...but it is still early. I might go chill for a bit and come back and play. The good thing about 5 tabling is that you can basically do it any time whereas you can only 12 table in prime time.

Ive been running super bad since I got back home. First of all, as everyone knows, you cant 12 table on party anymore cause their program breaks. Thats fine...I decided to play some 20/40 limit and about 100 hands into my session, I get AA on a AK92K boardm capped on every street against KK. Yay. I ended that little session -$1400. Im obviously a huge loser in limit, so im not going to play any more of that for a while, I dont think. I then decided to play some sngs on stars. Honestly, their software is shit. I dont see how anyone 9+ tables on their site. On top of that, I got 2 and 3 outered left and right. I probably have -50% roi on that site. Also, when you lose, it doesnt even tell you what game you lost, making it impossible to manually keep track of your results. So...now im sitting here finishing up one last game, which I just got 2 outered in on the bubble. I have no clue what im going to do today. I really despise poker. I wish I could find a job that paid $200/hr. Id jump to that in a heartbeat. Maybe ill go on a vacation and not play any poker or something. I dont know.

Party is messing up a lot...and that is really really bad for me, as I dont have anything to do at home besides work on party. I went 0/1/1/8 today mainly because my buttons kept disappearing. I decided to play a few sngs on stars, so I loaded up 18 $55s but got a headache probably because im not used to their software and playing 18 is hard. I bought a few videogames so I might spend the rest of the night playing some of those and sleeping. Im thinking I might try to get in some hands of limit tomorrow, as sngs on party are out of the question anf I dont really like the ones on stars.

Im sitting here in my hotel room 10 tabling cause 12 wont load...so im bored. I am planning on going to Bareclona in 6 weeks for some 5000 euro ept event. A guy here owes me $8700 so he is just going to give it to me in euros there. I managed to leave Vegas with $5000 more than I came with thanks to blackjack. If I didnt do well in that, im sure I wouldnt be too happy, as id be leaving with nothing. All in all, it was a fun trip but a discouraging one. I did get itm in 4 wsop events, but just cashing doesnt pay the bills. Im leaving tonight at midnight, but before I go I have to spend $2000 in comps. Hopefully I can find enough stuff to order. Hopefully party can gets its act together with its new software. The traffic on their site in the big sngs has dropped a lot in the last few weeks, maybe because of the wsop or maybe because their program doesnt work. When I get home, I guess im going to run as many $215s as I can and then $530s and $109s to fill up the rest of the screen. This 6 tabling just isnt working for me. I guess thats all thats on my mind. I'll post again when something happens.

Well...I went into today knowing that i would do well if I didnt make a lot of 2nd best hands...well, all I did was make 2nd best hands. About 20 minutes into it, I had AT on a AT3 board...obviously some stupid girl has 33...1/2 my stack gone. About 80 minutes into it, I get 77 on a T72 board...guy has TT. Basically, I got screwed, like normal. I will for sure not be playing in all the small events next year. I will play the main event if I can get in for free, but this trip has basically let me know for sure that I am not a winner in big mtts...or at least that I dont like the variance of the game. Im going to be flying out tonight at midnight. Im glad to be going home so I can sit down and work for a year or so.

I got all the bad luck out of my system today. I lost $10,000 in blackjack pretty fast and then lost $2000 in 10 sngs. Thats ok though, as I was stupid unlucky. I also played mario 64 for more of the day on the hotel videogame thing. It took me about 4 hours to beat it. Its amazing how you can remember things you did 10 years ago like it was yesterday. I guess im ready for tomorrow. I watched a few videos by "good" online people last night and a little today. I also played a few fairly deepstacked mtts last night online. I dont really know what else I can do. Im jprobably going to try to run over the table but not go broke with anything stupid. Hopefully I get a nice table full of online fish that are willing to gambool with nothing...but I am pretty convinced that I know how to play the early game against anyone, so I will take whatever comes my way. I'll post again tomorrow.

Ive basically been chilling around the hotel...I lost $10000 in bj the other day, so I decided I was going to keep the play small...until one of my friends paid me $10,000 he owed me in bellagio chips. The rio wouldnt give me cash for them but instead, they would only give me 2 $5000 chips, which I had to gambool with for a bit. I decided to gambool with 5k of it. I managed to win $10,000 so now I can play a little more, as I told myself I would quit with 50k profit from bj...and now i have 60, so 10k worth of gamboool. Anyways, I plan on spending tomorrow playing a little online and maybe gambooling a little. Im basically just going to try to get my sleep back in line so I can wake up at 11:00 on Sunday to play the main event. I guess im going to watch a little tv then head to sleep.

but lots of things have been happening to all the people around me. The shipit mansion got robbed, costing them a lot of money and time, as they all have to get new computers and all that stuff. Right after that, the usher took 2nd in the $5000 plhe event, bringing in a nice $284,000 back to the mansion. My friend BBOUJA also took 9th in that event after taking a nasty set over set beat vs the usher very early at the final table, which sucks. Fearing that our house was next to be robbed, I decided to call up my host at the rio and he hooked me up with a room for the rest of the world series. I think I was the only one at the house with $50,000 just laying around, so im pretty sure it was a smart play to get the hotel just to protect my money. I dont remember where I was at on blackjack last time I posted, but at the moment, I am up $62,000. Im probably down from last time I posted. :-(

I guess ill talk a little about blackjack...It is a very odd game when playing with other people, as most people think you are taking their card when you make an obvious (to smart people) play and not taking the bust card when you dont hit, which usually isnt the problem for good people. For instance, most people flip out when they see me hit a 12 against the dealers 2 or 3...If you dont make this play, you probably cant be a winning player when the deck is neutral. I love hearing the dealers say "never hit a 2 versus a bust card." I want to say, "yes, thats why you are a dealer and im betting $1000/hand" but I dont cause im a nice person. Also, ive notived when I degen it, which I define as making huge bets for little to no reason, I do bad...as does everyone else who degens it. Degening is also kinda related to using the martingale system, as you usually bet stupid amounts after you lose for no reason. So...no more degening it for me! Im going to sit there, make $400 or so bets and when the deck gets juicy, bet whatever im supposed to. I also found another 2 deck game that isnt in the high limit area, with limits from 100-3000, which should being me a little less attention. I think I pull the "get up and piss" thick a little too much, which is where you get up and dont play the rest of the deck when the deck gets really bad, so just being a random drunk guy in the poor section of the casino might be better. Enough about bj...its boring...

I am supposed to go check into mgm grand today for my partypoker hotel, but I guess im just going to try to cancel that. I also need to try to collect $20,000 that people owe me. Im just going to stop lending out money, as it is usually just a hassle not worth the effort.

I havent played many sngs in the last few days, as party has been updating/screwing up their program. I did manage to get in 65 games or so in the last 4 days though for $2000 profit or so. I guess thats it...I play the main event on day 3, which is 5 days from now, so I guess ill just post again when something happens.

Everything was going great in the $5000 plhe wsop event today. I had about 27,000 chips at the end of the 4rd level when average was 7000 or so. I was pwning the fish nicely until this hand screwed me. There was this rock that just went from 6000 to 19000 chips cause he had AA twice in a row and basically doubled uo both times. There was some confusion because there was a guy that had blinded off, as he never returned from the 2nd break, who had 50 dead chips in the big blind, where the normal blind was 100/200. A guy "raised" from 1st, trying to bet the pot, but the "pot" in this situation assumes the bb is actually 200, not 50...so he makes it 350 but is forced to make it 400, the rock calls, I pot it with AA. Everyone but the rock folds. The flop is A33. Looks great, right? The rock checks, I pot it, he calls. The turn is a 9. The rock checks, I pot it again, he minraises me....great. The river is a 4. The rock pots it, I push and he calls with 33. So...I get screwed down to 8000 or so. I managed to hold on until the 8th level by restealing from this same idiot to my right. Eventually he raises from 1st, I pot it with KK, which is about 1/2 of my stack, and he pushes with AQ. Obviously he hits an A so I lose. I really hate how I can play good all day just to get in against a 3 outer and lose. So...Im not going to play any more events besides the limit shootout in 2 days and the main event. Im tired of playing good all day just to lose. Im probably just going to grind sngs hard for the next few days. Ill post again when something happens.
